Can I change the wording on the Photo Card? TOP

Yes. All wording on the website is an example only. You can have any wording you would like, and I will work with you to see what will fit as best as possible. This is all included in the price and ‘all part of the service’.

Can I use a Birth Announcement design as a 1st Birthday Invite? TOP

Yes – of course. All of my designs are flexible. For example, if you like one of our Baby Announcement designs but would like a 1st Birthday or Christening Invite in that design, simply order the Birth Announcement design but provide all the other information and I will setup the proof appropriately.  Each design can be tailored to your occasion.

Turn Around Times TOP

Turn around timeline:

Please note these are APPROXIMATIONS and times could vary based on the

amount of orders received during the day and current workload.

Each order is processed as received in sequential order (where all information and images are supplied).

Card design proof: Proof emailed within 48 hours* (usually sooner!)

Print: Occurs the day following approval.

Postage: Within 24 hours of print.

Australia Post: Allow 3 working days to arrive to your letterbox.

*Business days are weekdays only - Monday through Friday - not including holidays.

What hours are you open? TOP

The Paper Posy Website is open 24 hours, 7 days a week for placing orders. Designs are processed Mon -Fri from 9.00am - 4.00pm, and after hours at various times. 

Please note Christmas Closures are from 23rd Dec to 3rd Jan .  Orders placed on or after 23rd December  will not be processed until 4th Jan.



Do colours print exactly as my screen or previous order? TOP

In a perfect world – green would be “green” and everyone would see it the same…well in todays world of monitors, printing dye lots and calibrations this certainly isn’t the case.  Different monitors display colours differently and then print machines also produce colours differently too adjustments in ink loadings, dye lots etc...  Slight variations may occur to what you see on the screen, or as a repeat order.  Unfortunately this is out of my control – and usually so minor it usually is undetected.  Think of it this way – your order is unique to you and as near to “perfect” as I can guarantee.

What do you get in my printed order? TOP

For your order you receive:

  • Personalised design – photo editing, text, colour and font changes
  • Order design back within 24 hours (Mon-Fri)
  • 4” x 6” (10cm x 15cm) size high quality glossy 260gsm photo paper
  • Free 2cm square magnet
  • Proof email for approval
  • Order carefully printed, packaged in bubble wrap and sent
  • Care, attention and lots of love in the design process….

How long does it take for printed invitations? TOP

1. Proof:  Your proof will be sent no more than 48 hours after receiving your order (Mon-Fri) – more than likely it is within a business day.  If you have not heard from me – please email as your design may have been spammed when I have sent it for approval –or for some reason there is a hold-up. 

2. Printing:  Allow 48 hours for printing of your order.

3. Postage:  Your order will be posted during office hours following print.  Postage is via regular Australia Post Satchel, where it takes 3-5 days to reach your letterbox.  Express Post is available if you require your order sooner.

I've placed my order - now what happens? TOP

After you have placed your order:

  • Ensure you have filled in all the info fields – for your design to be completed
  • Email your photo(s) to design@paperposy.com.au
  • A proof will be sent to approve for print – or advise changes
  • When you are 100% happy with your design email “approved to print”
  • Your order will be printed and despatched within 48 hours of approval..
  • It’s that easy…..

Help - I want to print my order myself!! TOP

No problem!. The YOU PRINT option allows you print your design yourself - and usually within 24 hours (Mon-Fri). After I have personalised your design you will be sent a high resolution .jpeg and pdf file to download from You Send It. The jpeg file is another name for a digital photograph. This file will allow you to print the invitation just as you would print a regular photograph at a local lab of your choice (ie Kmart), or on your home printer. You will need to select the YOU PRINT tab and enter the unique invitation code / name and description.

Supplying Images to PaperPosy? TOP

By supplying images to PaperPosy for use in your designs and orders you agree that:-

  • You are the parent or guardian of the baby or child, or have obtained the consent of the parent or guardian to use the photos provided to PaperPosy.
  • You have the rights to use any pictures supplied by yourself to PaperPosy.

PLEASE NOTE THE SERIOUS ICKY BITS: Professional images that are provided to you by a professional photographer may be protected by copyright laws and cannot be reproduced without permission from the photographer.  PaperPosy takes no responsibility for images supplied by clients for the creation of designs, all indemnity lies with the photo sender. ( Ohh that sounds serious – but really just means I trust the photo’s you give me are yours to give). Images can be supplied to: design@paperposy.com.au.

Photo size and selection TOP

Images must be high resolution  (300 dpi pref.), and please ensure you supply images that match the orientation of the design you have chosen.  To check what size the image is you are sending right click on it, choose properties and then you can view the file size – 300dpi or 250kb+ the bigger the better. Lower dpi images have more black dots per inch than images with higher res - so they reproduce with blur and pixelisation.  Although I do crop, touch up and size to fit - look at the type of photo samples on the site and decide which best suits your photo or vice versa.  Please do not supply images from i-phones or mobile phones as they are very small file sizes, pixelated and do not reproduce well.  Also – if your image is blurry, grainy/dark there is little I can do to improve these. I will try and wave a magic wand and make these as best I can - but the print quality will be compromised.  I can change all colour photo's to B/W, sepia etc.. I will do minor touch ups (spots, blemishes, marks)  but please ensure you choose the photo you like best. A maximum of 2 images to proof/decide will be provided.

International Orders - I live outside Australia TOP

Buon giorno, Bonjour, Selamat pagi, Ni hao...hello!

The postage quoted is for all orders within Australia - that includes our Tasman friends.  For Overseas Orders (Yes NZ - that includes you) - please email design@paperposy.com.au with the qty of announcements/invitations you are ordering and I will confirm the Air Mail costs - prior to order placement.  As a rule allow a minimum of 12 working days (Mon-Fri) as transit time for Air Mail leaving Australia.  Alternatively - the You Print option allows you to print your order in your home country.  I also suggest you all move to Australia...but in the meantime am happy to post O/S so you can enjoy my designs :)

I've ordered Folded Cards or Photo Card Frames. TOP

Folded Cards and Photo Card Frames arrive supplied flat – in a separate plastic sleeve.  This allows you to write on them, without scratching the photo card.  They have slits in all corners of the front of the photo card for easy insertion.  A small instruction sheet is included with each order.  So simple assembly is required – but it is no where as hard as putting together an Ikea Billy Bookcase… I promise!!!

Do I get to see a proof? TOP

Absolutely!  All orders receive a PDF or Jpeg proof sent to your email address for checking and advising "Approved to print".  Your order is not printed until it is "Approved to print".

I can't use Paypal - can I direct deposit? TOP

Certainly. PaperPosy uses a Paypal checkout  to pay using a credit or debit card via a secure server (SSL) so your transaction is safe, protected and processed quickly. Although Paypal is preferred because the shopping cart order is activated via the Paypal Sale - if for any reason you cannot use Paypal please email me on design@paperposy.com.au for DIRECT DEBIT DETAILS.  I will then send you the bsb, account and reference for use.

You will then simply have to advise the full requirements of your order via email and your order will be processed. Sorry no cheques......request for washing dishes... or laybys.

I've approved my order - can I track it? TOP

Simply enter your order details in "Order Tracking" on the right hand side toolbar to check the status of your order.

How much is postage & how is it sent? TOP

All orders are packed and carry a flat postal charge as follows:

         $10.00 which is the regular Satchel charge from Australia Post plus packaging.  Larger orders requiring a $12.90 Satchel – will only be charged $10.00 flat postage.

          Invitations packed in separate sleeve with magnets separate so they do not scratch in transit.

          Envelopes separately packed.

          Order packaged with packing slip into a bubble envelope

          Placed in a Regular Australia Post satchel. (2-5 business day delivery)




Sample Designs - prior to purchase TOP

Sorry – I no longer email sample designs prior to purchase. Unfortunately I have had people print my sample designs themselves and not make an order…how rude is that!! BUT I will make as many edits and samples as you would like after placing your order – until your design is EXACTLY what you are looking for.  Your satisfaction is my priority so I will give 110% to each and every one of my designs.

Is there a minimum order quantity? TOP

Yes, there is a minimum of 20 printed cards per design/order.

Can I write on the back of the photo-card? TOP

The back of your cards will be printed with a small PaperPosy logo, and area for the magnet to be affixed. This is printed on the bottom edge of the card and you may choose to write above this. If you wish to add a personal handwritten message to your cards, we strongly recommend the PHOTO FRAME or a FOLDED CARD is added to your order as it is blank on the inside and specifically designed for this purpose.
